If anyone here took either and could give me their thoughts on it, that would be most helpful.
The other subjects I'm taking are:
Philosophy
Pyschology
Biology
Photography
All full A levels.
I like writing (creative), so I want to expand my vocabulary and enhance whatever style I might have, I don't like analysing poetry or writing essays on Injustice and Misunderstanding in Silas Marner.
They may seem to point obviously towards English Language, but Lit is a better qualification to have, and probably covers most of the writing technique that would be involved in Language.
Any thoughts?
Maths
Physics
Chemistry
Geography.
Boooooring.... :D
I've been told to be a Games Designer you'll need a more specified degree, so at A-Level I can do what I want, really. But Compting was needed, although that was the only one I was going to do anyway.
So much better than ICT *yawn*.
I've got my interview on Monday, so we'll find out then if I'm allowed in.
Other than that, I dont have any useful information for you, haha.. err I mean sorry no can do.

Agreed. I did exactly that in my Eng Lang AS exam and came out with a C, not bad.
I do Eng Lang at A-level now and to be honest, it's bullsh*t. Pick Literature.
On the down side, you'll have to make an extra effort to get grammar correct, and you'll need to do it in your own time. But on balance, you will almost certainly get more out of Lit.
It's pretty easy though, you just gotta go in and talk b*llocks for most of the lesson.
..."People used to speak it, so we still do now, and my mum says who cares where it came from it's irelevant, nobody gives a s(-)!t"
23year old dutch female Teacher - "Some good points there Mr Lover Man...A+...still on for our date?"
Shabba - "You betcha"
See...way too easy!

I mentioned it
Obviously you aren't familiar with St Martin's Sixth Form
We HAVE to take General Studies in year 12 AND 13
Reason? School gets money for it.
