I tell you Battle was dull, the station was like the Local Shop. Two bored taxi drivers and a tea-man. I was waiting for my lift and overheard a gem of a conversation. One of them mentioned there was a fight in the street the other night, someone replied,

"Yeah that was the Adair gang against the others, they've gone to Scotland now I've heard, though he's inside in 'e".
