I'll start the ball rolling with this comment;
Jackson's a freak. Simple as that, the program hasn't done him any favour at all and contrary to the point of it has destroyed his reputation as a person. However, undeniably, as an artist he's still amazing...

Nice to see the sympathy for someone who was deprived of a childhood, beaten repeatedly and forcibly lashed to the doorstep of fame with a note saying "take him, or we'll beat him to death and sell the video on eBay".
or you can see it the other way in which he's putting the whole thing on as an act. You never know..

Anyway, I caught a bit of the show, and I agree with Snuggly. He can't see that some of what he does would be considered "weird" by just about every person on Earth. He's messed up. He's, what, 44 or something? He's been famous since before puberty, you can guess what that would do to somebody (especially when they're as eccentric as he)

He's basically a child trapped inside a man's body. He has no concept of reality due to being in the limelight for the last 35 years, but there's nothing sinister there at all. It's almost like he's mentally retarded. I felt sorry for him to be honest, at the end when he almost started crying, he wanted the world to be a better place for everyone and couldn't understand why people thought it was strange for him to share his bed with kids.
