So here it is :-D
I'll start the ball rolling with this comment;
Jackson's a freak. Simple as that, the program hasn't done him any favour at all and contrary to the point of it has destroyed his reputation as a person. However, undeniably, as an artist he's still amazing...
Comments?
If he's a paedo, lock him up, if he isn't, leave him alone.
The cult of the celebrity is evil. Eeeeeevil.
I'm pretty much on his side, I feel sorry for him because the papers and stuff are being weird about his life. Who knows what goes on in the bedroom with him and the kids, he could be telling the truth. But the papers just want to make a massive story out of it. Obviously, the kids are going to want to sleep in his room in the first place because he's a legend and most likely their idol and in parts of the programme, you could really see how much he cares for his fans.. "I love you too!" Hehe!
But then sometimes I totally think he's lying about everything. I doubt 'very' much he would have had just two operations to get his nose like that. When he says those kind of things, it makes you wonder whether he's lying about everything.
My views on him changed completely when it got towards the end of the programme with him and his children, I'm sure a lot of people were surprised by the way he was handling his baby. Also, the fact he was covering the babies face, but only to hide him from the cameras. The same when he took the children out. Ick, hideous masks!!
But I thought he was very sweet the way he would talk about how children made him happy - hoping it's not in a sexual way - and how he would say he was a child at heart.
Maybe it was just the way he was brought up..? Who knows? No-one! The interwiew could've been one big hoax for him. Maybe the way his dad treated him when he was younger could've affected him in some way..
I love that interviewer though! He rules! :D

I'm sure his leg was vibrating....
Anyway... as the day goes on I'm hearing more and more views on this. The way Michael is percieved on the program is not only the way he is but also the way Bashir and the program makers want to make him be. Bashir was quite harsh with the questioning.. especially at the end. His approach of 'if he's not going to answer this time ask him again' meant MJ was pushed up into a corner and made to answer the questions in a way he wouldn't have normally.
Also the problem with this sort of program is that it tries to be something it quite obviously isn't. Think about it. 'Living with Michael Jackson' is the title. Surely that implies that this program is going to have a look at his life and what he did during filming? Bashir was unessesarily harsh on him..

I agree mostly with Snugglys view on it.
But the bit with his kids is a tricky one.
I think he is just trying to protect them from the media. If their faces where known then there probably would be no chance of them ever leading a so called normal life. I don't know if they go out with nannys etc or if they only ever go out in public with their father and therefore wear masks. But if they go out without him then they could go un-noticed through the crowds etc. If their faces were known the media would take away any chance they have of being normal. After the way Jacko was brought up I can see why he tries so hard to keep them unknown to most.

I don't think eBay was about when the Jackson 5 hit the big time...
Seriously though, I agree. Assuming that he isn't concocting vicious lies, then it is hardly his fault that he no longer has a proper grip on reality.
The way he was feeding that baby on his need, frantically bouncing it up and down? He looked like a stressed mother who was about to put the child through the nearest wall!
There was a woman from the US Social Services on the news this afternoon who said that, if it were anyone other than Michael Jackson, the kids would almost certainly all be placed on the 'at risk' register.
Apparenlty the programme goes out on US TV later this week, and their authorities will be "watching it very closely indeed" to see if any action needs to be taken.
The whole obsession with little kids is quite spooky, but you can't really blame him with his appalling experience as a child.
I loved him as a kid, and he still remains a livng legend to me, with all controversy aside.
