Much as we'd all love to get our girls (or fellas, ladies) Mortal Kombat for Valentines, we must be more romantic about these things.

So, does anyone have any great ideas for Valentines presents?

(Keep 'em sensible, and we all might come away from this better off in the bedroom department...)

Yeah, there is, but that's not the point here.

Regardless of how much a blatant sham valentines day is, women love it. They enjoy spending the money and buying things for you just as much as she likes to know that you have dome the same.

It's not that a girl will put out if you get her something, because firstly, that will happen every day of the year (shallow, but true), but moreso, the fact that if you don't out the effort in, they wont for sure.

Given the choice, would you buy her a gift and have the next few weeks in bed, or buy a game and have the next few weeks playing with yourself?

If a ladyfriend will only put out once you have bought her trinkets, there is a word for that behaviour...

I'll take it that noone has any original ideas then.

I usually find a romantic dinner and a few flowers sorts out Valentine's Day. Just be sure you don't pick Burger King for the location or you might end up with chocolate milkshake all over your chagrined mien...

*sigh*

Valentine's Day is rubbish and a total waste of money. Why can't we celebrate it the proper way by gunning down some innocent civilians like the the St Valentines Day massacre?

Now that would be something worth celebrating - a chance to get rid of your foes once and for all AND get it on with your girl...all in one feel swoop! Who said you can't kill two birds with one stone?
