HAHAHAHAHA, all is not as well as it seems in the land of the Playstation and the Walkman.

And everybody's been writing Nintendo off...

"Company loses-out after not having proper foresight and having an unwillingness to adapt and change to anything in the market that the company itself didn't actually create itself".

It's a classic, you see it all the time.

+ they've spent a ridiculous amount of money on R&D for the PS3.

So much so that even though they made loads of money recently on games royalities it was all cancelled out by the PS3 R&D costs.

AKA Nintendo a few years back............

Yep, that was the comparison I was going for.

Hopefully they can learn from Nintendo's mistakes and not go down the same path. If they do Nintendo and Microsoft will be more than happy to take a big chunk of their market share from them.

Well, from a creativity and fun point of view, I prefer Nintendo's approach.

Agreed, in my opinion Nintendo are by far the most creative company. look at the Revolution controller.
