Taken from Total Film magazine:

Subtitled When Harry Met Lloyd, New Line's solution to Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels' palming off a follow-up is to go the prequal route. Set in 1986, teen nobodies Eric Christian olsen (as Harry) and Derek Richardson (as Lloyd) will play the gruesome twosome, escaping their school's special needs department so they can graduate. Troy Miller directs.
ETA: Summer 2002

Well I was excited until I saw it was neither the orignal cast or crew. Could be good, probably won't but I just hope it doesn't taint one of my favourite films. Is out this Summer (don't know if that's USA, here or both) so I would guess there's a trailer out online now or soon.

basicly a website and trailer in one.

And just found it's actualy called When Harry Met lloyd (new that already): Dumb And Dumberer.

___________
Plus some news and info on the movie (all taken from www.movies.com):

This prequel to the Farrelly brothers' 1994 film, Dumb & Dumber, tracks Harry (Eric Christian Olsen) and Lloyd (Derek Richardson) during their high-school years, as the dim duo tries to escape the "special" classes and enter "normal" high-school life. Luis Guzman will play a janitor who adopts Lloyd, Eugene Levy will play the principal, and Mimi Rogers will star as Harry's mother.

Starring Eric Christian Olsen, Derek Richardson, Luis Guzman, Eugene Levy, Rachel Nichols, Mimi Rogers, Cheri Oteri

Director(s) Troy Miller

Screenwriter(s) Robert Brenner, Brian Hartt

Studio New Line Cinema

South Park's Trey Parker and Matt Stone were once on board to write the script to this one, but they bailed (and returned the $1.5 million they'd received!).

Former Saturday Night Live star Cheri Oteri has joined the cast, playing a high-school cafeteria worker who pretends to be a special education teacher.

That was good'n'.

Lloyd turns up on kids motorbike:
Harry: Just when I think you can't get anymore stupid you do something like this! ...And totaly redeem yourself!

I've got worms.
Pardon?
That's what we're gonna call our pet store. I've got worms, we're going to specialise in worm farms. You know, like ant farms but for worms.

I also wish that Carrey and daniels were still the main cast. When I heard the news I could even picture them doing it. So what if they're a bit too old (that didn't stop the cast of Dawsons Creek) I think it would have added to the comedy. Make up artists must also have the abilty to make people look young. The more I think about two damn teen actors trying to mimic the great performances from D&D, the more I worry about this film being ruined. If it turns out like Dude Where's My Car...I'll be mega p**sed.
