I must have had a faulty one as it lasted a good 4 years, damn you Sony :-D

Apparently it's going to be like a mini-pc in many ways.

That'll be easy to **** up then.

Clever Sony:

Launch a PS2 with a 1 year warranty.
Design the PS2 laser to fail after 367 days.
Sell more PS2s.

Launch a PSP that can be destroyed by a trojan.
Release a trojan that destroys the PSP.
Sell more PSPs.

Genius. Wonder what they've got in store for us with the PS3? Self-destructing Cell chips that they can blame on Al-Qaeda, invoke the force majeur clause in their smallprint and sell more PS3s?

It was only a matter of time.

Still, I'm not daft enough to mod my PSP, so I'll be fine.
