Funny thing is, an up-to-date Norton Anti-virus will recognise it and remove it.

This was bound to happen, some nobody releases a "downgrader" a mongo goes and downloads it without researching into it at all, then whoopsie daisy.

Or you could try charging a PSP with a different region charger if you wanted to break it in a different way, ohohoho.

Come to think of it the proper downgrader had me screaming "bricked, oh balls" many a time, but it finally worked, hooray.

Actually once you own the thing (unless it's a PS2) you can pretty much do what you like to it - it just voids the warranty.

But considering it's something people shouldn't be doing in the first place, serves them right for modding.
