If "playing every Nintendo game ever" is a selling point for the Revolution, PSP could potentially be harming future sales.
I was very fond of a lot of old games, until I came to play them again and realised they were in fact quite dire.
Regardless, I still don't see any sense whatsoever in spending £180 on a console to play them.

Me too. Launch machine, still going strong. Still reading CDs/purple discs, too.
Personally, I reckon that report is a mistake. If you're running old SNES games, your PSP may well fall into the "useless" category. They just got confused! ;-)
The failure rate has to be low enough so that no wrong-doing can be properly proven.
