Probably not 2 grand, well I stand corrected, the ones I've seen were, though I wasn't aware you could get them so much cheaper.
A mate has one that he got from work, they're good but I'd never use them as a full time telly ... looking at the picture for long periods of time hurts your eyes and you need a pretty big space to project onto.

They're great, but as I recall they also cost about 2 grand.
