There are also a lot of things majorly wrong.
The Ents didn't attack Isengaurd on there own, as far as I remeber, the battle was known as the one of the five armies, and the falcons helped, along with humans, hobbits (2 of) and elves.
And Faramir didn't take Frodo to Gondor. Never, He saw him on the road, found out about his brother and wasw a far wiser man and let frodo go.
Also things that were in the director's cut were needed to be explained to the audience, such as where the cloaks came from and why they camoflauged so well.
Effects for Gollom were brillian in the film. And the battle scenes were great.
The story was lost, and as usual, the film was no where near as good as the book.
I liked the first episode better, as I always find with Trilogy's, The first and the last are the greatest.
But the subtlety and depth of the original story is lost amid too much action.

That's how they did it in olden times...
Oh, and thanks for spoiling the Shelob thing for me too.
Great film, dire effects. I've seen better from films in the 80's. I wouldn't mind them usually, but the Ents just looked so f'ing poor. I mean, the blue screen was so obvious! I was very annoyed at this.
Seeing it again on Saturday :).

Dammit people

Nope, there were some Orc actors...one was at my school once. They're listed in the credits.

And also when Frodo is unconcious and the orks take him away.
