And about bloody time too. Driving to Birmingham on the M1 is a bloody nightmare. I've done that journey many times when travelling to Old trafford on Match days, and it takes upwards of 4 hours sometimes becasue of the bloody congestion on the motorway!

Years of emotionally aimed adverts with the objective of promoting guilt and sympathy in the viewer by a series of created images and fictional people have left me immune to such adverts.
How about changing some laws or reorganising Social Services ? Only ever given money to three charities, ever, and proud of it :P

Yes, but you can't expect everyone to use public transport, because it's crap. The Underground is the worst, I read something here (I think YH posted it) about all this stuff scientists found on one seat from an Underground Train...funguses, dead animals etc.
I'll stick with the car...when I'm old enough to have one.

You guys got the Millennium Dome instead :P

It costs me 77p for a 4 mile bus trip... and it's usually late or never turns up and I need to wait for ages.
" Let's go to the cinema dear "
" Shall we take the bus or the car? "
" Well with the bus we shall need to wait another 20 minutes at the vandalised bus stop and pay an extreme amount of money to sit in a smelly bus "
Bah
It is over-priced
Unreliable for times
Smells
I need to wait 40 mins for each bus, yet another part of town has them every 5 minutes... and the two areas have the same population... bah
