Here's the story;
I go to a International summer camp thing every summer for 3 weeks in Switzerland to practise my French etc...etc.. I've been going for the past 3 years and I'm planning to go again this summer.
Since this is International you get people from all over the world... Including New York, USA. There's been a small group of us that's bonded beyond belief and within this group is a girl (OK they’re mostly girls) with whom I've got on exceptionally through the years. I've never got further than being really good friends with her because it's difficult to 'go out with anyone' (imagine being in an environment when you see the same 60 people all day every day) and she's been going out with different guys every year (for the 3 weeks). These relationships of hers end up being over-obsessive from both parties and falling to bits as they go back home (thousands of miles away from each other).
Over this Xmas I've been invited to stay for a weekend in New York at her house on the weekend around the 19-23rd December. Everything's confirmed and I'm going definitely so there's no backing out now.
What I'm wondering about is what she thinks of me as... I think of her as a bloody good friend (admittedly she doesn't look amazing but she has possibly the best personality around) and I would be more than ready to 'go out' but I don’t know about her. She said in a forum discussion on an MSN Group I had set up that I'm 'her best friend in the world' but knowing her she might very well be joking.
However I have reason to think that she isn't... I always am the one who ends up comforting her if one of her boyfriends leaves the camp before her... But then again she hasn't actually ever turned to me for help and support
I don’t know if she’s ready to take our friendship/relationship any further... But the thing is that I am and want to...
What should I do?
Thanks a lot,
HHAT

Stuff her like a turkey.
"He's a good mate" = I would never ever consider it, no matter how drunk or how much he showed me he was a nice,honest person.
Go for the stupid ones with large breasts.
Most times, it's best not to anyway,trust me.
The general response seems to be 'Find someone else' Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
