Foreman started his League - and now it's war! Basically, expect me to get to every good game first so he can't do them.
Oh, and I thank you all for rewarding my hard work with your votes in the Notable election. All none of you. :-)

I do expect Arsenal to qualify from the group, they've shown some excellent form this season, and they did dominate at Roma.

A three-one away win from a goal down is a great result against any team :)

Seriously though, provided Henry stays fit, I still expect Arsenal to make at least the last four this year. Looking around at the other teams, there's nobody who would obviously trounce them - almost all the big teams have had some sort of a bad batch either domestically or in Europe. To have less than two (Newcastle aren't worth considering) English teams progress past the second round would be a crime.

Although Ajax are probably the weakest team in the group, they are still a powerful force. Ibrahimavic,Mido,Van der Vaart and Chivu are all great players. Don't forget they have already beat Man utd and Celtic in friendlys this season.

Maybe. It depends on Romas result at highbury.

I didn't say that it would.

Maybe, maybe not. But it won't be as hard for us as it will be for Roma.

Actually, I was talking to Sniper about the comment that Malcior made. You weren't involved at all. As you said to Update2.01 in another thread - try reading it next time!

Again, I wasn't talking to or about you, I was talking about what a large number of people had said before the group began.

Maybe not, but they almost beat Valencia. I know they're not great - possibly the weakest in the group. But before we beat Roma, there was much talk of Arsenal finding it difficult, and Valencia and Roma being the most likely qualifiers from the group.

No. You're not talking to everyone, you're talking to me. Roma are an average team. I have never said they were anything else.

Ajax are not a great team, I will put THAT to you now.
