If you mooch about on the Special Reserve and Freeola sites you'll find little problems or annoyances. e.g. why can't I do this, I can't understand that or couldn't we do the other.

Firstly I think the system is great as it is, I’ve used some other discussion boards like the ones on the BBC’s website and they’re really naff! They only let you post short messages!
However there’s always room for improvement, heres a list of things that would make the site better:
When you post a message, it would be nice if there was an second chance to edit our messages before we finally posted them, possible spelling errors or bad language could be highlighted so as to make it easier for us to correct/remove them. Alternatively perhaps if we were allowed to edit messages for a brief time after they were posted say up to an hour, then that would be helpful. This would improve the quality of our posts. Look at the one I did the other day, when I did a Typo
1985 instead of 2085…. quite embarrassing
It would also be nice if when we logged in there was a way to see all our posts, so we could quickly monitor how people are responding to them.
Perhaps the easiest way to do that would be to have a search section at the top of the page titled Find Posts, when you clicked on it -it would (provided you’ve already logged on) give you a scroll down menu with the option ALL OF YOUR POSTS, or ENTER NICKNAME of person who’s posts you want to see (Common users – or at least the top 10 people who have posted most in the last 2 weeks could be automatically listed, a better criteria could be started the most discussions, or maybe a mixture of the 2, alternatively you could pick the top 10 people yourselves at special reserve based on your own particular views about who posts the best articles, or insults you least). I think this would be an invaluable tool…particularly since its sometimes hard to track down FantasyMeister and all the posts that he’s doing (as he’s always posting all over the place “aren’t we all”).. and would certainly make the community stronger!
I asked you recently how you had Ants abusive language removed, and you told me that we only had to inform Ali and he would do the magic and remove the abusive item. Perhaps if there was a contact the Webmaster button or Complain about abusive language link.. people could contact Ali if they were abused.
However the last suggestion may not be feasible, say if Ali got overrun with complains…
So perhaps a “How to Use the Forums Link” would be useful. This link would take first time users through the steps of how to register, post messages(start topics) and reply to exsisting posts and navigate around the forums. It would also tell them how to complain about abusive messages (I didn’t have Ali’s email until I donated games to charity).
It would also be helpful if you could quickly navigate back, especially on the Future of Gaming Forum which must be massive at present (lots of posts), it would take ages to find a post I did ages ago.
The search mechanism on the cheats page needs to be improved, for a start theres no way to search for a cheat under a particular letter…put an alphabet along the top so the cheat for games at the end of the alphabet can be found quickly.
I would oppose suggestions to be able to change the colours of fonts to be posted, this may make posts harder to read. Also the resolution is fine, I can only go up to 640 x 800 on my P133..so it would exclude me an other users from the forum if there was a higher resolution.
It would be nice when you go to a game review if you could give a game a rating out of ten, this would help us quickly highlight the best games. We don’t always want to do a review, you could then display a Forum rating i.e 9 out of 10, or perhaps you could do a Star system i.e. 5 stars good, or even Gold, Silver or Bronze star system??? You get the idea.
Oh and a link to change or check your account details would be helpful, if I think of any more Ill tell you.

A more festival feel would b better! Put up Loadsa decorations and when we all celebrate another time of year put ones up for them e.g Halloween!

Maybe you should give the a nice face-lift, with backgrounds that fit the forum type.
Using my maths calculations it meant £3.50, but I don't hink I will try again after my christams presents I can't even afford that!
