The "General Games Chat" forum, which includes Retro Game Reviews, has been archived and is now read-only. You cannot post here or create a new thread or review on this forum.
So we would like your comments in this BUG TEST. An extra prize will go to the person who contributes the most to improving this site with little tweaks or solutions.
LITTLE TWEAKS are the operative words. You will not win anything for suggesting that we spend £35 billion on a re-design.
You must post your comments under this topic (or the similar one on the Playstation 2 forum) to stand a chance of winning.
Good luck
The Winner will be decided on Christmas Eve
I think!
No exams for me any more!
Tweak 2: Number of posts next to names in the forums would be nice.
Tweak 3: Make your search engine for games more 'intelligent'.
Tweaky tweaky tweaky, wasn't that in Buck Rogers?
Tweak 4: Make all cheques payable to FantasyMeister c/o Zurich Offshore Banking.
Tweak 5: Lose the white background on most pages, a nice transparent graphic of a subject relevant to the page in question would be nicer to look at.
Tweak 6: Delete the word 'Barbie' from the whole site.
Tweak 7: Merry Christmas
Lots of Love,
FantasyMeister.
Your search is great, and often finds the information you are looking for, but when you don't know what you're after and just want to see whats available, and at what price, you can't. Or not from a link I can find, anyway.
There were problems with the Redsplat front page, with half of the links taking you to the redsplat page, but this seems to be fixed now.
I'll try and have a proper look around all of the nooks and crannies of the freeola site etc when I'm not supposed to be working ;-)
List the games discussion forum seperately by console, N64 in one group, Dreamcast another, PS a third...
For every console have one screen where all the games available are listed, just like in the magazine, and include price, links to order, links to review, cheats and discussions.
Oh, and items that cost £4.99 - do everyone a fovour, make them a fiver or kick in a reddie anyway.
Also, maybe introducing mail order CD's could be a productive business venture?
