If you mooch about on the Special Reserve and Freeola sites you'll find little problems or annoyances. e.g. why can't I do this, I can't understand that or couldn't we do the other.

So we would like your comments in this BUG TEST. An extra prize will go to the person who contributes the most to improving this site with little tweaks or solutions.

LITTLE TWEAKS are the operative words. You will not win anything for suggesting that we spend £35 billion on a re-design.

You must post your comments under this topic (or the similar one on the Playstation 2 forum) to stand a chance of winning.

Good luck

The Winner will be decided on Christmas Eve

Spend not £35billion but about a thousand.
Get some good web designers in and ADVERTISE your services! SR is a very good company.

Wow - you guys really don't like the big list of links on the left do you.

Please note though, a complete site redesign will take quite a long time, and must cause the site to be easier to navigate, not harder.

How about having the home page compiled of a big sign for each console/competitions/customer info so that the blue bar on the left can be disposed of. Then, when one of these signs were clicked on ((for instance 'competitions') all the relevant links would be shown!
This would make the site tidier I feel.
Thanks!

Nope (to shockwave)

We'll be putting less on the page, not more, to make sure they load quickly, so that you can zip around

So there isn't any point in clicking on the links below the Group of forums title as they all go to the same place. Test this ut and I'm sure you'll agree. This could be changed back to the way it used to be when the link actually worked. Thanks Dan

Hmmm yes. A number of people have mentioned this. It would rather leave the Consoles Future and Retro page in no mans land though. Hardly anybody would ever get to see it.

You could always make it one of those shockwave sites that make it look profesiaonal but it might slow down. It is either that or an instant acess link to the forum you wish to go to

I have a TWEAK.

I don't know if this has been mentioned, but when you click on game discussions, then click on the future of gaming it just goes to future and retro: this means that it isn't a short cut anymore. So there isn't any point in clicking on the links below the Group of forums title as they all go to the same place.
Test this ut and I'm sure you'll agree.

Thanks

The site has no FESTIVE theme apart from the 1960's Christmas Lights which don't even look nice. Why not make the site really Christmassy for a couple of weeks, AND have MASSIVE New Year reductions, but don't tell anyone yet because they'll wait until after XMas.
Cheers
Dan
By the way I do not like the SR magazine that much, you should really emphasize the fact the Shenmue and MSR are incredible games, instead you don't bye,

Lots of aspects need to be improved and I believe the use of a scrollbar on the left of the page would be much better.
