Sure, my Spurs would probably have lost anyway today, but that terrible decision gave Spurs no chance. Mike Riley has done this before. Sendings off ruining matches, someone shoot him with a shotgun, or sack him at least.

Sry i meant to include that ive named 5 red cards dished out by Riley and in my opinion (and many others) only 1 of those red cards was warranted, it does seem that Riley is following the rule book to the letter and hasnt quite accepted that football is a contact sport which oddly enough means it occasionally involves contact being made.

Quite simply he sends too many players off for no reason at all.

Sry for 3 posts, but after i posted each one it made me more incensed and angry at Rileys incompetence that i felt obliged to keep writing :)

Well heres a few more interesting facts about Mike Riley...

Mike Riley sent off Birminghams (my team) Aliou Cisse in the first premiership game of the season at Arsenal following 2 yellow cards (Riley later accepted he acted wrongly and rescinded the 2nd yellow card) at least he admits he cocked up on that decision.

Seems like Riley likes Arsenal? read on.

Mike Riley sent off Dennis Bergkamp of Arsenal after he 'stamped on a Blackburn player at Highbury...

So he isnt an Arsenal supporter then, he just makes too many wrong decisons. (with exception to Bergkamp who did deserve to be red carded)

Mike Riley is the same Ref that sent off Bruno N'gotty of Bolton last weekend for breathing on West Broms Jason Roberts (he also sent off 2 Bolton players in the same game last season)

In an after match interview Sam Allardyce said that Mike Riley should never be allowed to referee another Bolton game again.

Seems like Mr Riley likes the colour red.

Dont expect any of Rileys decisons to be overturned by the FA cos they apparetnly saw N'gotty's challenge last week on TV monitors and agreed that he deserved to be sent off so they upheld the Rileys decision (totally shocking cos N'gotty did nothing to warrant a red card)

Riley isnt fit to ref a sunday pub game let alone a Premiership clash.

I was watching the Live Text commentary on Arsenal.com, and even they said it was harsh.
