Yeah, those knocks are painful - they hurt like hell for a while, then just go away. He didn't do anything other players don't do.

The challenge was from behind, so he didn't know who was challenging him. If you want to blame someone for the sending off, blame the ref for getting the first booking wrong, and Davies for committing a wreckless challenge when he'd already been booked.
Not to mention the fact that Spurs players were flying in all over the place in the 2nd half - one of them was bound to go sooner or later.

Actually wookie it was as bad. because his reaction played a part in Davies Getting sent off - Shame on him.

The second challenge on Vieira *possibly* was bookable on a bad day, but the first on Cole was not - there was no contact - Cole didn't even go down!
Keane's challenge on Ljungberg was worse, and he gave nothing.
Still, for what it's worth - at least the linesman was on your side... he disallowed two perfectly good goals!
