Sure, my Spurs would probably have lost anyway today, but that terrible decision gave Spurs no chance. Mike Riley has done this before. Sendings off ruining matches, someone shoot him with a shotgun, or sack him at least.

Hmm. I think you'll find that both Van Nistelrooy and Heskey both spend more time on the floor than Vieira, but theirs tend to be in or around the penalty area.

Ah. But when Heskey goes down, it's because of a challenge, no matter how big or small. I think the Van Man just likes the taste of grass myself...

No-one's denying that.

Or that.

To clarify - Ashley Cole didn't fall over AT ALL - he jumped out of the way, stayed on his feet, and made no protest to the referee. As they showed on The Premiership, the Riley was going to blow the whistle, but when Cole stayed on his feet, he didn't - apparently playing the advantage. The ball then broke to Vieira, and for some reason Riley decided to give the free kick after all, stopping Vieira in his tracks

This has nothing to do with Ashley Cole and everything to do with poor refereeing.

Hmm. I think you'll find that both Van Nistelrooy and Heskey both spend more time on the floor than Vieira, but theirs tend to be in or around the penalty area.

Sounds to me like a bit of the old Green Eyed Monster because of the West Ham fightback. :-)

Anyway, all this is detracting from the real highlight of the game - Henry's magnificent solo effort. Goal of the Season, some are calling it.

no, he just likes to roll around on the floor and gets people sent off and likes to complain that he's tired after 4 games into the season and that referee's are bullying him!

Meh,

get a pension!

Why don't you try and get tackled like viera did. At least he ain't like the Swan Diver.

Good point. An even better point was made by Solskjær; and the fact that Ashley Cole dived. Blatantly.

Will the FA crack down on it though? Remember, he already got Ciise sent off at the start of the season...

That was disgracefull reffereeing!!

Simon Davies should NOT have even been booked for that first "challenge" - if you can even call it that! Ashley Cole fell-over-nothing, like the over-rated proffesional he really is!

As for the second challenge, yes. That was worthy of a yellow card in my view. But I just can't believe Vieira! What a frickin' baby!!
Everytime the wind blows on him he has to roll around on the floor and cry his froggy little eyes out!!

And he apparently is one of the Premiership's "Hardmen", according to a large number of Arsenal fans I know!

I think Viera was genuinely in pain for a few mins but adrenalin is as good a cure as 'ye ol magic spongue' especially in derby games like that so its hardly surprising he got back up and ran his little french socks off :)
