And so ends the careers of the USS Cole bombers....CNN and Fox also have confirmed that these were the guys responsible.

They took lives, and now they have been stopped.

Seems like a lot of work to get manboobies.

My mate Neil has a mighty fine pair, gained through pizza. Easier than lifting heavy things and putting them down again.

*shrugs*
I prefer the silky funbags of wimmin. But at a pinch, you'll do

boobs, yes.

Mine are developing nicely as a result of many a chest press down the gym.

But you didn't want to know that did you?

of course it does Goatboy, but no-one comes here to change the world.

Personally, I see this forum as a way to evolve ideas.

If I were left to my own devices, my ideas on how to change the world would be far less useful to anyone willing to listen.

Yes, I said it. I've learned from the people on this forum. Not a lot, but nobody's perfect.

Almost nobody.

And before anyone tries to say otherwise, these forums do change people. think of the newbie fanboys who come here spamming pants. After a while, they calm down, they change, they start winning games. This isn't a natural evolution through isolated incidence, it's the influence of the other people here affecting people.

These forums won't change the world, but they will help us better understand it.

If you're not greatly inclined to read "the essay below", you probably shouldnt be in a thread commenting without having read what people have said.

I know you read it IB, but that's not the point.
As for what to do, I dont know.
I do know that mindlessly screaming for justice and applauding yet more murder is wrong.
Whatever your pigment/political leanings/idealogy

If you consider "justice" to be the death of another person, then you are what you sound like: A Fundamentalist.

I can't handle anymore blah blah blah from people that do nothing but post, pontificate and post - yet do nothing else.
Takes more than words in a forum to change this world.

I agree with you on that Bartender.

I would also rule out assassinations because whatever you do with the terrorists is much of a muchness as the saying goes.

The important thing is the reason why they are terrorising. And that cannot be resolved by killing them and blowing them up. It only perpetuates the problem.

To stop terrorism you need to stop provoking them to terrorism. Provocation is a very subjective thing and what might not provoke a Westner could see an Islamic extremist foaming at the mouth. You need to bring the two views closer together, and that can only be done via peaceful means.

Blowing up terrorists serves no long term purpose. They will only be replaced by more terrorists.

For those not greatly nclined to read the essay below:

Belldandy: revenge, bloody justice, the stuff of legend! Right Boo?
Goatboy: Two wrongs don't make a right.
uk: claps
SHEEPY: applauds

The problem I always run into is that yes, "two wrongs don't make a right" is a good way of thinking. No number of wrongs can ever be considered right.

But how do you correct a wrong? This is the fundamental question that situations such as thes pose.

Love the person who wrongs you?
Avenge the wronged?
Hate the wrong-doers?

Personally, I don't believe that bombing the terrorists is the answer. But neither is sending them to prison to play pool for 35 years.

It's cliche, but a quote sums my feelings up:
