I think you'll find it is not just the Americans who turn a blind eye to their more dubious acts, incidentally Hiroshima was not one of those. Britain has all but covered up it's part in the early 20th century slave trade, as well as the exploits of the SAS in Northern Ireland who were involved in what could charitably be called extrajudicial killings. Despite condemning them, Britain brought several Nazi scientists and officials to England after the war. During the middle ages, Britain killed around 100,000 people on charges of Witchcraft over a 100 year period, many burned alive or drowned. Britain created the first concentration camp during the Boer War. If you look hard enough EVERY country has its fair share of horrors, so don't go getting all righteous because you think we're blameless of anything.
This isn't Al-Queda either ? Why, they're not saying they did it. Even if you assume this is about terror and killings, then the killings bit is rather slow for terrorism.
Make us hate people ? You mean you don't hate people who orchestrated an attack that killed 3000 civilians in cold blood ? Whatever......
Incidentally, women are more likely to kill at close quarters - a more personal way of killing - and to have a relation to those they kill, and murderers are 90% male, on average. Whatever he thinks he is, he's nothing more than a murderer. The media, in their usual way, seem to have the idea the police are now negotiating this thing to an end. I don't think they are, but they have to continue negotiating and doing what this guy says whilst they work toward getting him. The chances of him getting any money out of this are smaller than me winning the lottery this weekend.
~~Belldandy~~
> 90% of the US population will stand
> up and say, "No, it is our right!"
as said in the matrix :
"fate is not without a sense of irony"
1.im sorry it is not a woman, it is a man.
2.he has struk again and got his 10th victim, i think it was a school child, he left a disturbing message saying "your children are not safe any were"
what kind of sicko is he, why the hell does he get kicks out of killing innocent people, just because he has a sad messed up life.
by the way not sure weather it is a school child or not, i said i think.
Despite all this sniper business, the lives lost, the tears shed, and the questions it raises - as soon as it's over and someone mentions stopping the general sale of guns, 90% of the US population will stand up and say, "No, it is our right!"
I enjoyed my holiday to Florida last year, but I'm sure as hell glad that I don't live there.
So not only is he going to kill inocent people, but at such a young age too.
He needs to be caught.
going off subject there a bit I know. if the sniper is just some psychopath, then he deserves gunning down, but I suspect a more sinister plot.
