Not because they were celebrating the birth of Jesus - but because they just wanted to join in with one of our traditions.
One of my biggest customers is actually a Jewish company (ie all the partners etc are a family of Jewish brothers) Their main profits are made from imports of Christmas decorations and toys and not suprisingly they are now in their busiest time of the year - they do not agree with our religious beliefs surrounding Christmas but are quite happy to profit from it.

Brings up an interesting topic, though.
Should people who aren't Christians celebrate festivals like Christmas and Easter? I mean, we don't celebrate Jewish or Islam festivals, right?
(By the way, I'm not saying you shouldn't celebrate them, just bringing up the subject. {:))

It says a few things along those lines
i) "Anyone who professes to love me yet hates his neighbour, truely I say to him, I do not know him." Or something like that anyway. I guess this encompasses what you are saying because to 'love thy enemy', you have to make an effort to live up to your faith.
ii) "faith without works is dead", speaks for itself really.
Those are the general gists I think. Obviously vary the wording depending of the translations, but the meaning is always the same.
Naaaa, not worth it, heh
Etc.
You are running rings around nobody - your comments do not really even warrant replying to as they are so invalid.
Thanks for ruining this thread - fool.
