I've had a Girlfriend for over a year and a half now. She's been faithful, I've been faithful, we've never had a major argument and we've started to like each other's interests (i.e. She got into games, I got into liking cats).
She is very nice to be around, and I hope I am as well.

So.. should I propose, or wait a little longer?

And any ideas where/when to propose?
I was thinking Christmas, then our Anniversary would be easier to remember. :-)

You haven't mentioned the 'Love' word. Are you sure that your doing the right thing. The fact that she is nice to be around doesn't seem like reason enough to choose her as your future partner. I could be wrong here of course.

If you are going to propose I would suggest that you pick a date that isn't important, as it will then make that day important just because you are proposing and its gives you anothe reason to celebrate.

Erm surely the anniversary is taken from the wedding day itself, not the proposal!

Don't get married on a whim, a mate of mine was seeing his girlfrined for 7 years and they have recently broken up (he felt the same way you did). If they were now getting a divorce, things would be very complicated...

Dont.

I almost did but thankfully decided to wait a while. And I offer prayers to whatever Deity stepped in there, because I'd be chewing my leg off trying to escape by now.

Get a tattoo instead.

Yeah, and when you do that, I want you to go to Uni and study Biology. Then, when you've done that, I want you to work hard and become a leading name in the science of pig's anuses.

Or, YOU CAN DO WHAT -YOU- WANT TO.

Perhaps.
