I've had a Girlfriend for over a year and a half now. She's been faithful, I've been faithful, we've never had a major argument and we've started to like each other's interests (i.e. She got into games, I got into liking cats).
She is very nice to be around, and I hope I am as well.

So.. should I propose, or wait a little longer?

And any ideas where/when to propose?
I was thinking Christmas, then our Anniversary would be easier to remember. :-)

*what MoJo would do*

Be with her for the countdown on New Year's Eve, then as soon as it turns midnight, turn her around to face you, look into her eyes and ask her to marry you

However, don't take that as me saying you should ask her to marry you. It's not. You don't seem to be into this girl as much as you should be if you're considering marriage

I thought you were younger than that.

If you think you both are ready and love each other then go for it. I wouldn't do it at christmas though, New Year could be a good time if you are strongly considering it.

I don't think my Girlfriend will start quoting Lylat Wars :-)

And Ali, I'm 22.

What age are you?

I don't think you should, it takes a lot longer than that to know someone and the fact you haven't had any major fights just gives me the impression that you aint ready.
Relationships are full of ups and downs. If you can't handle the downs then she aint gonna be your wife.

The time will come and you will know when to ask her.

I would wait until you have been coupled for at least 3 years, if you still feel the same way, get another girlfriend.

If you're going to a wedding anytime soon rig it with the bride + guests that your girlfriend will catch the bouquet at the end, and propose to her just after she's caught it.

If she can't catch then it was probably never meant to be.

Pray tell what all seeing eye gives you this piece of knowledge.

You do know that more women cheat than men don't you? This means that they are also probably better at hiding it...

No, I'm just joking.

They say when you know when you want to pop the question, you don't need to be advised on it, so I would say wait.

If you *Really* wanted to get hitched then you'd know without having to ask others. I'd leave it.

In my opinion, the ISP is the best I have ever used. They guarantee 'first time connection - everytime', which they have never let me down on.
