"Should I propose?"

I've had a Girlfriend for over a year and a half now. She's been faithful, I've been faithful, we've never had a major argument and we've started to like each other's interests (i.e. She got into games, I got into liking cats).
She is very nice to be around, and I hope I am as well.

So.. should I propose, or wait a little longer?

And any ideas where/when to propose?
I was thinking Christmas, then our Anniversary would be easier to remember. :-)

(A): No, all women are evil.

(B): Yes, but only on the condition that you have a naked skydiving wedding.

(C): Dress up as a Klingon, and make your proposition in the Klingon tongue. Girls love that kind of stuff.

shouldn't an anniversary be on the day you got married, not the day you proposed?

not sure about the liking cats bit, it's important to not become a (how did bart simpson say it...) 'dorkus malorkus' ;)

i agree with almighty, a marriage is only a bit of paper, you need to see if you can hack living with her first, and a year and a half really isn't that long. you don't need a certificate to be with her, so see how it goes for a a couple more years before committing yourself. Of course thats just my opinion ......

From reading that post, it seems you feel like you should propose because she hasn't been a b*tch, hasn't cheated on you, and is bareable to be around. If that's the only reason, no, don't propose. But if you actually want to marry this girl, I say go with New Years Day, like Mojo said.
