So how many Shines you got so far?


I have got 0. because it hasn't arrived yet :-(

45 so far, but I'm trying to juggle Super Mario Sunshine, Resident Evil, Broken Sword, Deus Ex and Stuntman at the same time! Not to mention the imminent release of Eternal Darkness, Vice City and StarFox Adventures.

So you'll forgive me for not being too far!

114 now. Only 6 more untill my game is fully-complete!
I haven't really got all that many Blue Coins to find either, and I even found a Secret Shine I had no idea about in Delfino Plaza!
I've got one Shine to get for getting 100 Coins, and one more from that annoying level where you ride the Leaf over poisonous water.
The rest are all Blue Coins... i've just gotta find them now!

The thing i've enjoyed most about this game is that I haven't used a guide to help me find or do some parts of the game, unlike Mario World and Mario 64. I reckon I will have to in-order to get the last few Blue Coins though. :(

3 more blue coins and then the game is fully completed :-)

I'm sure that you'll be able to find them all in one go, it's more of a 'hit and miss' situation with those blue coins, some need you to be in a specific level to access them.

Congrats on completing Super Mario Sunshine. All I need is 17 more Blue Coins, but I will search for them tommorrow as I think I know where a few of them could be.

I have finally done it! Crap ending like Drunk Cow and the other one who's finished it. I had 1 blu coin to collect and I had totally missed a set of arch way holes hiiden in the western cliff.

That would've been great advice... if he'd been asking for help on Pinna Park's beach! Sirena is the hotel level you twit! :-D


I won't walk you through to the Pinapple itself because that would take a while and I don't think you need it.
All you probably need to know is how in the toilets, you know where there's leaking water? Jump up there to find yourself in someone's bath...

Wet the sand alot and fruit will pop out. Eventually you will get your apple of pines. There is also a blue coin in there so go get it now!!!:)
