So how many Shines you got so far?


I have got 0. because it hasn't arrived yet :-(

I try not to read in this place as you all ruin it for me.

I'm on about urmmmm 48 shines or something and I've had it for about four days. I'll get some more shines later 8-)

I have 81 shines and the pinball one is actually BAGATELL.

Honestly

82 for me now. Only another 38 untill I have them all.

I'm so glad I was finally able to do that Pinball level - that level alone made me loose over 30 lives last-night, and I almost punched a flamin' hole in my bedroom wall due to the frustration.

I'm also glad that I finally realised what you have to do with those 'pups' in the first Episode of Pianta Village! :D
FLUDD keeps telling you to snap the chains, but you can't.
And I thought he was sposed to be helpfull??

I can see it's gunna be very hard for me to find all those Secret Shines, although I have found a good-deal already. But I have almost got the initial 8 from all 8 Worlds, so it looks like it's gunna be much-harder than I thought...

I may have to resort to using a guide to get the remaining ones. :(
All after i've completed the game once though. :)

I really can see now why people call this game so-much-more harder than Mario 64!

So using my list there are 240 blue coins in the entie game and I need 60 of them (heh 180 blue coins)

Here is a list of how many blue coins are in certain places:

Delfino plaza: 19 (including Airstrip blue coin)
Corona Mountain : 11
All other 7 levels there are 30 blu coins on each


I have now got 109 shines and have got 5 more obstacle red coins to do and the 6 that are left is up to blue coins.

Does anyone know where the turbo nozzle is on Noki Bay and where the activation one is?

So there are 2 Bell towers in the plaza?

I can't believe I never noticed that before...


Now I just have to collect the last 36 blue coins.
I get the feeling this is going to be a real pain...

I've got all 20 on the Plaza, all 10 on Corona, all 30 on Gelato beach, and need to find odd ones in the other levels (except Noki Bay - I need about 9 from there).

It's going to be a long and tedious task (I don't even know what "mission" to search for them on!), but I'm sure Nintendo will reward me for it...

They'd better...
