Well it looks like we'll be seeing the Freeloader and Action Replay sooner than even I thought providing all goes to plan.

I have been informed that providing their aren't any more hiccups in development, the Action Replay and Freeloaders should either be out at the end of this week or the beginning of next. (So it looks like you Super Mario Sunshine owners will be playing it the same day as me :P)

Many people have mentioned about keeping back a seperate memory card for the import games. Well I asked Datel to add that question to their FAQ (which they've recently updated) and they've basically said that "European and US games will happily share a memory card." However, if you import any Japanese games, your memory card will be formatted for Japanese settings, so it's reccomended you use a seperate memory card for your Japanese games.

Expect to see a new Codejunkies site sometime soon too!

Oh, and for those who are still unsure, the Freeloader will NOT be cancelled.

I'm happy enough to wait for Nintendo's PAL conversions.
When they FINALLY get here I find they've been well-worth the long and tiresome wait - just like Mario 64 was in '97, despite the consoles high-price.

It's to do with all the anticipation and hype and stuff...

And I find it hard to understand a game with Japanese text, and American games are often that bit different too... even if they are in English.

...and there are games like Metroid, Zelda, etc, etc, coming out in the future that you might want to get before everyone else...

That's because it was FMV.

ANY FMV sequence can look stunning.
The game itself was probably crap, so Nintendo demanded that Retro can it so that they could concentrate on Metroid.

Anyway, back to freeloader, although the need to get one for Sunshine is over, Animal Crossing might not get a UK release...

Well Datel haven't announced the date on their site (although they haven't updated it yet today as they're working on a new look....) but the date is as close to an official release date as anyone's gonna get so far.

Raven Blade was one of the games Nintendo said 'wasn't good enough' for the GameCube if I can remember correctly from that text that appeared at the bottom of the clip on the N64/NGC Magazine video ages ago... Shame as to m, ot looked bloody brilliant!

Good news then, even though I don't intend to get one.
Unless of-course something spectacular comes out 'over-there' but not over here.

But what exactly happened to Raven Blade??
I remember seeing some incredible footage of it last year, but then it vanished. Was the project scrapped - full-stop, or did they decide to make it yet-another Japan-only game??

That looked like one Japanese GameCube game that'd be worth getting a Freeloader and Importing for!
