I have been informed that providing their aren't any more hiccups in development, the Action Replay and Freeloaders should either be out at the end of this week or the beginning of next. (So it looks like you Super Mario Sunshine owners will be playing it the same day as me :P)
Many people have mentioned about keeping back a seperate memory card for the import games. Well I asked Datel to add that question to their FAQ (which they've recently updated) and they've basically said that "European and US games will happily share a memory card." However, if you import any Japanese games, your memory card will be formatted for Japanese settings, so it's reccomended you use a seperate memory card for your Japanese games.
Expect to see a new Codejunkies site sometime soon too!
Oh, and for those who are still unsure, the Freeloader will NOT be cancelled.
> Hooray, i cant wait to get stuck into monkey ball 2.
blatantly me to, i got it a while back and after reading the instruction manual for the 100th time i can say i'm looking forward to monkey dogfight!!!!!
topconsoles.com (or something like that) said that they officially spoke to datel yesterday and that they said october 4th is final)
new look codejunkies is the bomb!
But:

Noticed this a couple of days ago, but it seems totally out of line with everything that's been mentioned about the freeloader to date.
Check on the right of the screen, the 'other versions' box. It seems the american one only works on ntsc machines (it's the impression i get). But there's nothing to suggest the UK one won't work on both PAL and NTSC (Jap and US) machines.
But then why would there be a difference?
Even if it was packaging regulations, it'd surely be easier for them to sell the same disk for ameica, since the uk one would do everything required of it (ie all region cubes with all region games).
I'm confused by this. Personally, i want to run uk games on a us/jap machine. According to the page's blurb, the uk disk will do this. But then why have a different one for us cubes?
IT MAKES NO FRICKIN' SENSE
Why can nothing with the freeloader ever be straightforward?
I an't say whether or not the old UBB is coming back on Codejunkies.com, but the site is to change soon (if it hasn't already)
Makes a change to not be attacked for trying to help people :)
Lets just hope the unofficial official release date is kept to :)
(It was told to me by one of the top guys from Datel, but could still change if things aren't 100% with the freeloader)
You can play Japanese and American games on a UK GameCube, UK and American games on a Japanese GameCube and UK and Japanese games on an American GameCube.
