Well it looks like we'll be seeing the Freeloader and Action Replay sooner than even I thought providing all goes to plan.

I have been informed that providing their aren't any more hiccups in development, the Action Replay and Freeloaders should either be out at the end of this week or the beginning of next. (So it looks like you Super Mario Sunshine owners will be playing it the same day as me :P)

Many people have mentioned about keeping back a seperate memory card for the import games. Well I asked Datel to add that question to their FAQ (which they've recently updated) and they've basically said that "European and US games will happily share a memory card." However, if you import any Japanese games, your memory card will be formatted for Japanese settings, so it's reccomended you use a seperate memory card for your Japanese games.

Expect to see a new Codejunkies site sometime soon too!

Oh, and for those who are still unsure, the Freeloader will NOT be cancelled.

Yep, as soon as new codes are released you can find them from www.codejunkies.com and in G-Force magazine.

Sadly, there isn't a hack feature on Action Replay cheat devices any more as a certain company *cough* BLAZE *cough* copied the same method for using codes and claimed all the codes that amateur hackers hacked as their own.

Infact one time, Blaxe copied all the codes Datel had hacked off the AR2v2 (Action Replay for the PS2) including all the spelling mistakes, and didn't think they'd get caught!

That's why I wont buy any Blaze products...apart from a nice Dreamcast carry case I bought ages ago not realising it was from Blaze - the controllers don't fit in their allocated spots anyway...

Lol, I would buy it if I had enough cash.

Can you update games that come out in the future onto it?

I won't need mine for a bit yet, so as long as it turns up sometime in the next month, i'll be happy enough.

Then again, i said that when it was being touted for an august release...

I'll only be getting an Action Replay if there are any decent games not coming to the UK. Someone should start a thread with a list of games that won't see the UK...

Excellent. I really cannot wait for the freeloader, but if it does get delayed, I won't mind, as Datel will keep impovng it.

Cheers Edgy!

You guys that say you would only get freeloader if amazing games werent to get a PAL release are bonkers. You can get amazing bargains on ebay and the like on import titles after the PAL launch. I got tony hawks and ssx tricky for £20 each. Bargain.
