Its not so easy to push these rumours aside when a member of Microsoft (Robbie Bach ?) mentioned that Rare were only to be the first of a number of developers Microsoft are looking to buy.
Has to be said, if Microsoft are successful in adding both Capcom and Sega as exclusive developers, the competition are in real trouble.
Both companies have very strong titles to their names. Especially Sega with their excellent games.
Then of course Capcom are already providing us with Steel Battalion, Capcom Vs SNK and Marvel Vs Capcom and we all know what other games they are responsible for. :-)

Have to understand that most GBA games aren't actually distributed by Nintendo, so you probably complaining for the wrong reason, especially for PAL brought GBA games... unless of course it was a Nintendo shipped game.
Unreliable company? Not at all... their customer care is actually great, not for the fact that I have Andy Williams mobile number or anything.
I really think he finds me annoying. :-D
Poor customer care, and a few faulty GBA games.

Well I can think of two cases where Microsoft have been sued off the top of my head.
One was for stealing graphics technology to use in the X-box. They only discovered it a few days before it's release and if it wasn't for the millions Microsoft payed Silicon the X-box would have been taken off the shelves and not released!
The other is for stealing the Java VM from Sun Microsystems, which means that thanks to Microsoft I now can't access any webpage that uses Java. And you wonder why I hate Microsoft?
Of course in both cases they just payed off some millions [spare change] and got away scot free, the customers didn't though, of course.

Completely different, most companies try and rectify problems they are having, however, since Bill Gates used DOS plans from another company and began Microsoft he has thought that anytime he faces a problem the answer is to use his millions to buy another company or buy out the other companies causing all the problems or the ones who actually sell (all of them) better software.
I agree, all companies look for success, however, each company is different and only three companies actually have the financial strength to keep supporting billion pound errors : News Corp, TIme Warner and Microsoft. All bloody huge multinationals who just don't care. Of those three, Microsoft are the worst. Damn dirty worst.
Hence me not liking them.
> I don't mind the console I just feckin hate the company behind it.
Same, Microsoft aren't really behind the console though either, those are the chips made for them and near every other part of the box, they market it and can't even make a good job of that.
Stupid monopolising muppets.
If I ever met Murdoch or Gates, I would make it a mission to give them in the nads and wouldn't really care about the consequences.
And what ever happened to innocent until proven guilty??? :P
Dont take anything I say seriously btw
> ah well the way the game is played I am afraid er-no
No its not. Its how you break laws and twist what happens in the industries. Its what Microsoft do and although not actually having done it yet they have the money to and probably will. I hate them for this reason, they did it with the PC market and saturated that to the point where it seemed like a desert with only crap crap CRAP windows OS's everywhere.
Thank god for Linux and MacOS.
The survivors.
