At the moment, Rumour has it that Microsoft are looking to get Capcom and Sega, just like they did with Rare.
Its not so easy to push these rumours aside when a member of Microsoft (Robbie Bach ?) mentioned that Rare were only to be the first of a number of developers Microsoft are looking to buy.
Has to be said, if Microsoft are successful in adding both Capcom and Sega as exclusive developers, the competition are in real trouble.
Both companies have very strong titles to their names. Especially Sega with their excellent games.
Then of course Capcom are already providing us with Steel Battalion, Capcom Vs SNK and Marvel Vs Capcom and we all know what other games they are responsible for. :-)

Seriously though, i find Nintendo customer care extremely poor.

The Java problem is only with Windows XP.
And I checked good old reliable Microsofts update section.
Over 20mb of downloads to fix problems with XP!!
Thats what I call a crap service, and a shoddy job done in the first place. They really do take the mic sometimes. Whats worrying is that over half of them are internet security fixes, they actually forgot to put something in that stops anyone accessing your files, and formating your hard-drive!
And lets not forget the 3-4 month wait many people had for their 'reward packs'.
Customer: Wheres my reward pack? It's been 2 months!
MS: Oh sorry, we didn't bother to tell anyone, but the great operating system and software we make has crashed and erased all the records. You'll have to fill everything out again.
And I checked good old reliable Microsofts update section.

gamezfreak, that was ONE incident, and you can't blame the whole of Nintendo for that. I once had a faulty official memory card, and got it replaced almost immediately. Great service. You, however, got your replacement GBA a long time after you expected it. Terrible service. Those are two ends of the spectrum, and usually, Nintendo hardware doesn't go wrong.

NCC - " Ok whats the problem sir"
Me - "Theres a hugy chip of plastic missing where the game cart slot is"
NCC - "What have you done about it?"
Me - "Nothing thats why i am ringing you"
NCC - "Have you took it back to the shop?"
Me - "No, I am ringing you to ask"
NCC - "Take it back to the shop"
*I Go to game, they say to me to ring customer care....*
