...then you can have it. Perect Dark shouldn't be cartoony! Admittedly, this isn't in-game footage (it will probably take from six months to anything up to six years for that top materialise), but if this is an indication, then ...well, I'll let you form your own conclusions.

Two words (and four numbers) for ya -

Unreal Tournament 2003

I played the demo last night, I now have an inexcusable puddle of drool beneath my chair and over my keyboard!

Yup.
But let them have their hair-pulling and screaming.
It's funny

I think that with the programming ease of the Xbox, and more to work with, will mean more than 2 titles a year, although I could be wrong. Rare may now be like

"Where in the money now guys! Lets sit around and do nothing for a couple of years! What was that Steve? You reckon I should get a Merc? Well, I DO have the money now, don't I? MWAHAHAHA!!!"

or something like that

The PC is the king of gaming. The console lemmings tend to forget that.

Nope, nor me.

My only reason for getting into this thread was a boredom of hearing Nintendo fans bragging about Rare etc, and now Rare have run away there's an embarassed "Yeah..well..shut up..er.." thing happening.

At the end of the day, I buy whatever console appeals, regardless of make.
I had a PS2 and sold it, have an Xbox and sold my Gamecube so I've tried 'em all on.

But to be honest, I play PC games more. Wider variety and no decent RTS games on console.

But that also works the other way around.
A few months ago when Nintendo fans would say "Rare are the best, Perfect Dark 2 will rule etc", Xbox people wouldn't give a damn and say they don't care about Rare and that Halo would still be better.
But now many seemed to have changed their tune and are going to wet their big pants over Perfect Dark 2.

At the end of the day Goaty, people bought their GameCubes for Nintendo games, not Rare games. Hence, very few people will buy XBOXs for Rare games either.

2 games a year is really no great loss, and considering that I was never a great fan of them anyway, I can't see what all the fuss is about.

I dont care passionately about console wars.
I do find it amusing to watch people try and backtrack from "Rare are cool" to "Rare only do occasional games so it's no great loss".
