I am not laughing at Rare, Rare were my third favourite company and my first favourite company kicked 'em out to you guys. Oh no I'm laughing at the fact that Microsoft expect Rare to release 5 games in 2 years....

Well lets face it, Microsoft don't come any way near the imagination, originality and innovation Nintendo posess.

Microsoft is'nt a games desginer, Its a publsiher.

Well written i throughly agree. I expected that to happen, and i expect it will happen again.

Project Ego has taken 3 years so far.

Ok then, well, Microsoft have verrrry high hopes...it took 4 years to make Starfox

Actually thats what Rare have said. I don't see Microsoft pushing them as much as Ninties are trying to put around.

Project Ego has been in development for ages and Bungie have been given as much time as they want to create Halo 2.
Buffy was put back god knows how many times since launch. Microsoft have plenty of money and can afford to wait for top companies to release their high quality titles.

The thing is, will Microsoft allow Rare the same amount of freedom as Nintendo did?

To be honest, I doubt it, seeing as they are already puching them to make 5 games in 2 years...

Well Microsoft aren't as much of a games company as Nintendo are.

Not expecting Donkey Kong at all. He can sod off for all I care - its Conker I wanna see on X-Box. ;-))
Perfect Dark Zero could be a damn good game too.

Donkey Kong is a Nintendo trade mark character, RARE only started using it because Nitendo were too busy to handle it it. So don't expect any Donkey Kong games even the changed name of Diddy kong racing.
