The more I see about this game, the more I want it. The graphics, the bosses (particularly the shark), the atmosphere all seem to add up to a must buy game, but I'm still not sure.

You guys have played it, so what are the good parts? I've read reviews, but a little persuasion about the fun factor, etc would be nice. Is it worth buying?

You can't actually go for headshots, you have to just hope.

Although I must say I'm getting far more headshots playing as Chris.

Just checked my copy of NOM:

- Go for head shots.
- Lock on (anyone know how to do this for controller type c?).
- Aim for limbs as a last resort.

Plenty of ideas :D

Yup. Don't shoot anything :D

Good eh?

But seriously, now I'm playing through as Chris I've killed maybe 3 zombies in total. Just dodge them and run away. Never kill a zombie unless you have to. Feel free to kill dogs, spiders and the other things though.

If you do find yourself cornered, then shoot it until it goes down, then just run past it, don't stand around and finish it off.

And as you probably know, or will soon, the area behind the..

*spoiler*

hall where the dogs jump trough the window becomes full of zombies, don't bother running through it anymore, there are two other ways to get to the important rooms beyond it, down the stairs from the second floor and through the wall that opens up into the paintings hallway.

*end spoiler*

Taking a longer route is worth it if you don't have to encounter zombies.

Hell yeah! The first time I encountered my first Crimson Head I scaled the mansion burning everything! As for that room down the hall, all I found was a Broken Shotgun, a Battery Pack, and an Ink Ribbon. The kerosene's there, too. Any ideas?

Also, do you have any tips on conserving ammo?

Sounds like you've been wasting a hell of a lot of bulliets there Mav :) I had plenty until the mines areas. Just keep running past zombies, if you don't panic and stay calm then you won't screw up on the fiddly controls and you'll be able to run past them :D

Plus there are some bulliets nearby, possibly the room down the hall I think, theres some kerosene there too, I hope you've been burning those bodies...

Ok. So I've just entered the drugs room, but to do that I've had to run past two zombies and one lying on the ground! I haven't picked up any ammo for a while now, and really need some! Does anyone have any idea where some could be?
