AS a lowly student i obviously have far to much time on my hands I am internet hooked and a master of daytime tv! It has stuck me whilst reading the modern bible (tv guide) that Kids nowadays have utter crap on tv. Were as my generation had quality programs like turtles the get Tweenies and other crap. Personally I blame Rosie and Jim the people who began the corruption of modern day kids TV. this was followed by utter sh!te like power rangers and the likes. I am afraid for this generation they will become weird with such rubbish on tv and society will decay.

Save the youth of today!

The A-team was cool, so was Knight Rider, and Airwolf, but they're not proper 'kid's programs' are they?

i dunno, saved by... didn't do anything for me, it was alright, just not special. Don't know if this counts as kids tv, but i used to love baywatch on a saturday afternoon. Also, the a-team ruled.

Pokemon! Pokemon? Now when i was knee-high to a pikachu, we had no such thing as all this pokemon business. No, pokemon can clear off, it's just a way for rich japanese corporations to control the minds of its young with epileptic imagery. It's all the flashing lights and incomprehensible plots that gets me. You sit there thinking, "What the hell is going on? Who watches this? And why?" And then you see your little brother sat there goggle-eyed, with his pokemon lunchbox, and his pokemon t-shirt, and his pokemon home pregnancy kit and legal document kit, and you know why.

Yea kids TV today is utter pap.

My fav kids TV list is:

Thundecats
Tohmas the tank engine (cant belive no-one metioned this)
Count Duckula
Jack and Max
Popeye the sailor (cant belive no-ones medtioned this either)
Power Rangers
Pokemon
Secret Squirrell (cant belive no-ones medtioned this either)
Transformers
And lots more

Its funny how i used to love the power rangers but now its just boring and repetitive. It really is amazing that will all the money they still have poor special effects and god awful acting.

As for Pokemon i loved it.The first series or 2 were the best but after it got popular it just got less meaning full and focused on the money.

And Pokemon was deep. I still remeber the bit in the first movie when Ash got frozen and all the Pokemon cried to bring him back, that was brillaint

Trapdoor was immense. Funhouse was like watching a migraine, it gave you a headache if you watched it too long, those kids were hyper though, never stopped yelling and shouting and running and jumping...

Also, supergran, woof!, early gladiator, and dangermouse. Penfold was wicked.
