Do you guys have to fork out for a DVD player as well as the Gamecube?

Juat look. Only Resident Evil Zero and Resident Evil 4 will ook like the new remake. Code Veronica looks very good as it is but i do not care about the graphics all i want is gora and horror
Remember that these are early days people, and I'll bet as developers get more familiar with the GameCube, and push the boundaries, games as big as Resident Evil will come on one disc.

If Resi Evil 2 was to be a two disc game, then I'd be ver VERY surprised. However, it is likely that, instead of releasing Resi Evil 2 and 3 seperately at discount prices on release (they're ports after all), they might both be included together, which would most likely become a two disc set anyway.
When it comes to the memory capacity of N64 cartridges - being a circuit board inside a piece of plastic, it wouldn't be too difficult for a bigger capacity memory chip to be used instead of the normal 512MB memory chips.

thats a good point about double sided disks, i wounder if Nintendo have thought of that. Do you know what playable games will be on the 1st demo disk?
