Heh, surely Tekken 4 deserved more fuss. There it was, released today, no top place on the shelf, no Asher 'I got Tekken 4 a day early' topic, and no cardboared advertisements in Gamestation's window. You could play it in Game and it was pretty cool, especially the graphics. So whos getting it? And yes Herc, we know you have it... you dirty pirate you.

Yeah, that's why he's not getting Tekken 4. Because it got a seven.

And what's this about an oficial stamp?

Plus the fact it has the "official stamp" :D

Isn`t a 7 one point less than an 8?

Get this: my friend, who has Virtual Fighter 4, isn't getting Tekken 4 because... wait for it... it got a seven compared to VF4's 8 in the Official PS2 mag. Weird, huh? a) It's only one point more; b) since when has a magazine's opinion been the end all of all purchasing decisions?

the thing with fighting games is they aren't just about unlocking all the characters and then completing whatever modes there are...
you get so much more life out of it by playing with friends, improving your own style of play so that you can tacle greater difficulty levels etc
if you do that...there's hours and hours of playing to be done

The games gr8!

The first time I played it was in a shop. I was gonna go buy it that day, but in the shops, they all had it running in 50Hz mode, and it was soooooo SLOW! Thus, I thought it was pap and didn't bother buying it.

I then went to a Tekken comp, and played it in 60Hz mode and it was soooo much faster I thought it was brilliant. In the end I didn't buy it cos my mate just gave me a free copy! :D

It's a decent beat em up! And the graphics are faaar better than those in Virtua Fighter 4!

The graphics look pretty good, and it's finally in 3D. It better be a lot better than Tekken Tag, what dissapointment, this is their second chance

Well, got the game today, and wow! Its great! Loads and loads of stuff that really is amazing... but one thing:

Why is Heihachi wearing a nappy in the final stage?!?

i haven't played it as much as i probably should have (damn pc games...) but i think it's really good...i like the 60hz, i like how you can't button bash as much as you could with tekken tag...esp with linking moves
there are loadsa moves cos there are quite a few stances....nice graphics -none of those horrific jaggies you see in vf4
