I was wondering about dual CPU systems:
1) Can you use differently rataed CPUs?
2) Can I mix my XP2000 with a 266mhz FSB and an XP3000 with a 333mhz FSB?
3) Can you set the FBSs differently? If so, I guess you need more than one DIMM, yes?
4) How does XP handle dual CPU, considering virtually zero software is compiled with multithreading?
Thanks.
sorry

100cfm is for girls..

I can do better than a delta ;-)
Plus, nob off with the water cooling, in a rabbit infested house there is absolutely no way ON GOD'S EARTH I am ever going to shove a load of water in or anywhere near my case - which, I might add - gets a lot of knocks from various on-the-fly upgrades and regular transportation to Cambridge/Newbury. My AX7 does teh job and it does it extremely well, and by Friday it will have a 100cfm 120mm fan on it which will do the job even better.
On the subject of heatsinks, can't I just whack another AX7 on the mobo? Do I need specifically heatsinks for dual CPU motherboards?
As the other guys said there wouldnt be much point in multi pricessing as there isnt a lot of software that is comatible with it, things like seti at home can enable it and CAD and i thing alot of adobe graphics software can, basically for the price of upgrading to dual cpu's you could buy the fastest cpu out at the time, and water cool it and buy a really good graphics card or go for scsi and the performance increase would be massive compared to the dual cpu system.
