Hi people this is my first day and first post from my new job.

ok so you don't give a flying game cube but i'm bord ok :)


i'm basically working alongside this IT guy at my dad's work and so far it's been ok. i've been configering a few comps loading office 2000 on them and setting up an e-mail exchange thingy.

well there's nothing to do now and no one is complaining so i might give that pinball game a bash on XP LOL.

na the IT guy came in and was showing me a few things and gave me errrrrr what did he call it? ah 'work' to do.

well i got a come next to me (a very very cack one) and i gotta format it's HDD and put windows on it so errr easy enough.

got a few bits and pieces to do in Excel and later gotta check some more comps out so yeah something to do yay.

Be careful Res - don't want you breaking those ickle hard working fingers of yours. ;-))

well here i am again at me desk......... i errrrr changed the back up tapes and checked the e-mails hmmmmmm bord now :(



well the IT bloke should be in today otherwise it's gonna be dullsville again :(

if i don't post much aroun 10-11am then i've been given something to do LOL.

well here i am, sitting at me desk waiting for the IT guy :(

bet he gives me some work GRRRRRRR. anyway i have changed the backup tapes and got a CD burning, this job is sweeeeeet.

almost forgot my afternoon report. well so far it's been dull but not as bad as this morning.

after me lunch break i went back into the IT room and logged on MSN messenger LOL after finding out i have no friends (joke) i decided there was more boxes and a type writer to throw out so off i went back and forth to the bin.

after that excitment i decieded to try the vending machines out and i got a small bottol of Dr Pepper and a pack of errr Minstrels or whatever there called.

then back to the IT room. whilst playing my new game of swinging on the chair i found a CD rom tutorial thingy on TCP/IP which i bord myself with this afternoon.

after that finished i decided to do a CD back up of the accounts docs which it's still bloody doing LOL so so slow.

*sigh* and that's pretty much it really.


not bad though and i can spin round loads of times on the chair before i get dizzy.


it's well good though got my own office and everything :)

wish it wasn't a temp postion ah well fingers crossed this is my dream job. i am homer simpson well almost,
