"Massive fight last night"

I am in such a bad way. I had a massive fight with my girlfriend last night. We have been together for over a year and I love her dearly, but last night we had the worst fight ever. We were even physical with each other and I would never usually hit a woman. In the end I told her I wanted her to be out of my house tomorrow - because she lives with me. I slept in another room last night and this morning we didn't say a word to each other. We dodged each other round the house and went to work our seperate ways.

I dont know what to say to her when/if I see her when I get back from work. Deep down I dont want her to go as I love her and we have fun together, but we have been arguing loads and I have been finding myself looking at other women, thinking "she looks nice". I'm sure she doesn't want to leave either, but I am really stuborn and dont think I can say sorry to her.

Please help me.....

She's in the wrong. Don't tell her that though. Don't mention the argument. Just tell her how you think you're meant to be together, and silly little things like that shouldn't get in the way of that. If she apologises, then you should too (even if you don't mean it)

I remember my sister had a huge argument with her fiance Dan. He told her he was staying in, then one of her friends saw him out with his mates. That was it. And she went BALLISTIC. Screaming down the phone, saying the wedding was off and all sorts. Silly woman.

well she wanted me to spend the evening with her and I said ok, but then my mates called me and asked if I wanted to go down the pub. I havn't seen them in a while - about 2 weeks, so I told her I was going down the pub. Then she went mad because she said I had already commited to her. But I hadn't seen my mates in ages, and I see her everyday.

but the thing is i'm really bad and showing my feelings and I do love her and want to stay with her but I dont think I can tell her that as I dont want to be the one to kind of appologise first as I dont think it was my fault we had the argument.

It would help if we knew what the fight was about

Was she cheating on you?

Were you cheating on her?

Did she disagree with the Playboy wall paper you chose?

Decide in your mind what you want out of your relationship and talk to her. There is give an take in every relationship but it pays to have an idea of what you want otherwise it will just end up like before.

If you don't love her, tell her. If you do, tell her. Just make sure either way you are open and honest about stuff..

Although hitting a woman is wrong, sometimes it needs to be done (say if she's trying to knife you and you know you can stop her with one swift punch)

I hate it when a lass starts attacking you, all you can do is hold her arms as it doesn't really warrent a MoJo style beating (which a lad would get)

well not punch her in the face, but i held her down because she was hitting me. I hurt her in the process though.
