i thought i'd write a post similar to what a ninty wrote in the x box forum a while back.
the game cube is a kiddie piece of crap that is only good for being a heavy door stop.
Mario looks like a dodgy 70's porn star and all the multi format games all look cack on the silly cube.
the joypad is a joke. the x box was said to be to big but the game cube is far to small and the D pad is to small for my little finger let alone my thumb.
if i saw a Game Cube on fire i wouldn't even take a wiz to put it out i'd run and grab all the spirits and petrol i could to fuel the fire instead.
face it ninty's the GC is a bigger dissapointment that the N64 was.
second rate graphics with second rate games.

After all Savatt has played the likes of Blinx, Project Ego, Splinter Cell and all the other games he's raved about extensively!

But saying that, have most of the people in here played most of the games they're praising ?
As for the Mario games being a thing you can love just for being in the world it creates, I think the same thing can be said for people that love games such as Halo and the MGS series.
It all comes down to the kind of atmosphere you enjoy from a game. Some people like yourself enjoy the colourful Nintendo style world Mario brings while people like me get their kicks more out of being in the middle of a large battlefield with allies as well as foes involved.

As for a better game than Mario Sunshine, this will be disputed for ages no doubt, but in my opinion the mains ones = Halo, Splinter Cell, Mech Assault, Blinx, Project Ego, Star Wars: Galaxies.
Now before any little fanboys come running along and throwing their dummies around, those games I put as better than Mario Sunshine are down to my opinion.
