Ok here we go again. Another question for all you clever people.

I'll start off by apologising - the other two questions i asked, I should have looked into first and when I did I found the answers pretty easily. I'm sorry I spammed up the forum.

But this time I spent the best part of an hour looking for what I wasnt and I couldn't find it, namely because I don't know what it's called.

You see the little bar down there next to the taskbar? (Internet Explorer) The one with the progress bar and on the left says 'Done' ? Well I've seen some websites have little messages that come up there. Please brace yourselves as I once again ask a question -

Has anyone got the scripty code for doing this?

However, I should warn you that only lamer websites put things in the status bar. I personally think that websites that do it are amaturish.

you just need an event to that calls the window.status method

something like

blah blah
trigger blah blah

I havent tested that, but you get the idea
