ok so the subject line was just a catchy title.

but really these nintys are having a laugh, there's like a handful of games that are good on the GC and a shed load (a big shed to) on the x box. and the PS2? well the games companys can't be bothered with it anymore so why should i LOL.
well i might get stuntman and tekken 4 but still.

anyway what i hate about these nintys are the games they say are so good really aint. ok so it's a matter of taste and if i was 5 1/2 i'd love a GC but i'm 20 and i want blood and gore.

most GC owners must be about 10 as they argue like kids and get all up tight if you slate mario and everyone knows sonic is better.

if i had my way sega would still have a console and it would be ninty the game developer and i'd have me sega machine next to an x box and live happlying ever after knowing all the nintys would be crying as they haven't got the guts to buy a non nintendo machine muahahahahhahahahaha

ok so this post will probably encourage them but why can't we all be happy gamers?

oh well naff all i can do except laugh at there little faces and there silly little cube, sav had a GC for about a week and he found a use for the handle LOL

What is your point? If you bothered to read my post I gave examples of games that are overy hyped and why, how do you know Metroid will be any different? To be honest no one knows until reviews are released so until then keep your P's & Q's quiet before you step your foot in it. You have no intentions of getting an Xbox otherwise you wouldn't be laughing at what one idiot from Game Network said, according to them GTA3 is due out on the Xbox this christmas, and you will believe what they put? A comment like:

>Metroid Prime and he said this game made "Halo look stupid",

Make Halo look stupid? LOL, if it does I can tell you now I will have a GameCube quicker than you can say "I am a ninty fanboy"! After reading previews Metroid looks fantastic and if it even touches Halo it will do very well, but to say a game that makes Halo look stupid is a comment from a fanboy, a Nintendo one at that!

*Walks off laughing at comment and how believed that this fanboy had intentions of getting an Xbox, smacks head on wall and wonders when will learn not to try and help users like this*

Thing with RTS games is they need a hell of a lot of buttons, that's why Pikmin was so revolutionary. The control system was simple to use and worked. You control 100 of the little dudes just using a couple of buttons.

A mouse isn't a "must have". I've played strategy games on a controller before and it wasn't bad. Its like PC owners saying that console controllers are crap for FPS. Again, I'm fine with the joypad - I'm actually more comfatable with it rather than using keyboard keys to do stuff. :-)

Im sure the xbox could cope with C&C red alert, i also think the gamecube could as well, (ignoring lack of hard drive of course). But the controls would be too awkward, you really need the smooth and presice nature of the mouse. Mind you Microsoft will probably be launching one of those as well.

I always thought that they should've crossed over the FPS and Platform genre for this one - like Jef Force Gemini.

Run around like your usual platformer until an enemy pops up, and then tap a button to zoom into Samus's helmet for accurate shooting.
That was you'd get the best of both worlds.

Still, I think Prime is as good as a Metroid FPS can be.
Probably not a Halo beater, but not a Halo "loser" either.

Just very different...
You'd want both really.

Bah, I know you have it pre-ordered, no use trying to hide it. ;-)
I bet you'll be waiting on the shops doorstep, jumping up and down with your cash in hand. ;-)

Now to go and get that train drivers outfit while I wait for the game...hehehe....
Ah ! Did I just think that out loud ??
