"TOCA Challenge - not another TOCA post I hear you say, but this one's different !"

Due to the recent release and high interest in TOCA at present I thought I would try and start a weekly challenge to find the quickest TOCA drivers out there.
Each week we will pick a track and car and go hell for leather to set the fastest time (in free run). I will pick this weeks challenge to get the ball rolling and because the challenge will finish on Sunday it is only a short week. On Sunday one of you can choose the next challenge;

Here goes, one that everyone can enter;

Track: BRANDS HATCH GP
Car: VAUXHALL ASTRA

I will post a time here tonight, challenge ends Midday this Sunday.

No times from Nat or Uncle Albert, make me the winner !!!, if you two want to carry on this post please post a message otherwise we will put it to rest.

My time for the Viper GTS around Bristol is 13.70.

You could organise a Stuntman thing if you want Nat, sorry I just don't have time to do anything nowadays.

I didn't mean you had to change your choice, it was only an observation but the Viper is a good choice. I will post a time later.

(ps I got bored of being called Ryan, I am a Stuntman now)

Ah, good point. Hmmm...cant take the mem card out else you wont have the mini....hmmm...ok

Track: Bristol

Hi Nat, I hope that we are going to be able to spot our lap times beacuase I'm sure we have all lapped Bristol in a faster car than the Mini.
The only other thought I have is to use a new save so records are blank, but then lots of tracks/cars are not unlocked.
Any suggestions ?

Same sort of thing as here but is a 3 lap race and your are NOT allowed to alter any car settings - sounds complicated but it's not and is a great selection of car and track.
Give it a go !

The challenge!

A nice easy, un-frustrating one. The car is the Mini and the track Bristol Speedway. This one is really down to set ups and getting the line right. :)

Challenge 2 is over, results:

1. Uncle Albert 1.34.??
2. Nat Buc 1.35.23
3. Ryan (David) 1.37.53

Points table (to date)

1st Uncle Albert 20pts
2nd Nat Buc 12pts
3rd Rayn 8 pts.

NATBUC can choose the next challenge, it will start once he posts it and finish Tuesday 10th Sept at Midday,

I have set up a more serious TOCA Challenge Series on my site (just follow link on title page). I take part in a weekly GT3 challenge on another site and wanted to do something similar with TOCA. Please have a go. We will continue to have our challenges here also (the three of us! - where is everyone ?)

Albert, I know what you mean, this is a problem with TOCA, don't know a way around. Except keeping you eyes glued to the timer!
