As Back to the Future DVD box set isn't going to be released here for a while now, I've had to change my ideas about what I want for my birthday from my good lady wife.

I was informed that you can get import Wavebirds for under £30, so I thought I'd ask her to get me one of those instead, as in my house it would sure come in handy.

As some of you know, I have two young children. Malibu will be 3 soon, Georgia is 1 and a half. If I play games during the day, the often trip over the controller lead. This is annoying. Wavebird will fix this.

However, I see problems with the Wavebird too. What happens when I leave it on the side, and Georgia picks it up? She'll hide it. A regular controller won't go any further than what it's plugged into, so they're safe, but how long before I misplace a Wavebird?

Still, I reckon it would be nice to have one.

But you see, the point of buying one isn't because the cables aren't long enough, it's because Meka's children trip over them, that's why he wants one. He doesn't care about how far away he can sit.
What if you have no choice but to play in a small room?
I have played with a wavebird and I can tell you it is nice not to have to worry about wires, especially in multiplayer.

Also, by saying that "like 1% of the population has children and plays games" you are being stupid, because I know at least 4 parents who play computer games, and there are more than 1%. Apparently it is you who don't look at the demographic.

By saying I don't see the need in it, I showed you why peole want it, but you decided that it was still not worth it. That is fine, but please realise that some people do want it for these reasons.

so that proves my point, its mainly because it "looks good", not because it offers anything so breath-takingly new that your gonna miss out heaps if you buy one.

i didnt say "no one who plays games has children". you said that, i said its about 1% of the population, if you can actually read.

yes i have played mulitplayer games,. but if your stupid enough to play multiplayer sessions in a small room with no space, then what do you expect?

did u even read what i posted, where did i tell Meka Dragon not to get one?, and have u ever used a wavebird?, i havent i didnt say it was rubbish all i said was i cant see the need to buy one, when nintendo have gone through the trouble of making the cables long enough.

It's obvious that you've never had a multiplayer gaming session, because if you had, you would know that the wires from four controllers can easily get tangled in a small room with limited space.

It's obvious you weren't thinking about what everybody else was saying, and just blindly stating your opinions without seeing both sides of the argument.
If you think that we all talk crap, then why don't you just leave?
You say "no one who plays games has children".
You are just making things up to make yourself look better. Meka Dragon was worried about his daughter tripping over wires. So you decide that, because this isn't your worry, you don't care and you'll just tell him not to get one because no one has children. You make no sense.
Leave this alone, think about what you say before you type it, and learn to respect other peoles views. Every time you said something bad about the wavebird, I said something constructive, yet you decide that it is still rubbish. Have you ever used a Wavebird? If not then how can you comment?

Maybe it's for people who don't want wires everywhere that their little children can trip up on, maybe it's for people who want to play multiplayer without getting wires tangled and without cords being pulled ut by stray feet.
Maybe you are a fool n00b who doesn't think about what he is saying.
maybe we all hate you.
