I was informed that you can get import Wavebirds for under £30, so I thought I'd ask her to get me one of those instead, as in my house it would sure come in handy.
As some of you know, I have two young children. Malibu will be 3 soon, Georgia is 1 and a half. If I play games during the day, the often trip over the controller lead. This is annoying. Wavebird will fix this.
However, I see problems with the Wavebird too. What happens when I leave it on the side, and Georgia picks it up? She'll hide it. A regular controller won't go any further than what it's plugged into, so they're safe, but how long before I misplace a Wavebird?
Still, I reckon it would be nice to have one.

Reasons why the wavebird is worth a little more cash:
1. No cables to trip over.
2. No cables to get tangled up.
3. No restrictions on how far away you can play.
4. Freedom to move or walk around when playing.
5. Looks pretty cool and futuristic.
6. Makes Nintendo 1-Up on the controller wars front.
There's six, and there's probably more. We've accepted your opinion, but all you seem to do is deem the controller unecessary. Well, it isn't. It's convenient, and I bet at least 50% of GC owners will buy one.
I think that a Wavebird would be a good investment, Meka. But you can't have my WaveBelt yet, I'm still making it.

Excellent, good idea.
The Wavebird will save many scuffed knees, and allow me to get away with playing sduring the day without scowling looks.
Oh, and dvdboxoffice is dead cheap, plus free shipping. I reckon an official UK one would be MORE expensive.

no u gave me one reason, parents, which i accepted in my own post the first time, so answer this if only 1% of the pop who want the wavebird will have "young children" ie under 5, and the cables arent the reason as you say for buying one, whats the second reason, or cant you think of one?.

Ive got the perfect solution for you Meka. Weld a teaspoon to the side of the controller as soon as it arrives, you can be guaranteed that if it goes missing it will be in the bottom of the sink just after you have finished the dishes.
