What does w00t mean?

No, don't laugh, I'm 24, I'm a father, I'm not supposed to know these things.

I reckon people that write that are probably suffering with a nasty encrocklement.

I always though it meant 'what', but it must mean 'yeah' then.

I always thought it means "What" too...

But what I don't get is why people keep saying "Meh" instead of "Me".
They sound completely different!
If they wanted it to sound like "Me" then surely they'd know it should be spelt "Mee"!?

and yes cookie does go w00t at every chance he has when playing RA2!

It just means 'yay'.

I heard w00t comes from the sound players make when they jump in Quake III but I don't know if it's true.

When i used to play an online game ages ago called infantry when you got loadsa points people used to say "i got 5860, w00t!" it probs means somthings good...
